The North Stradbroke 2 Day Adventure has been our most popular Overnight tour, with it’s easy access from most parts of the south east, fantastic wildlife and great camping areas. Many people have been amazed to find so much hidden beauty great coastal paddling and wildlife so close to the city.

Here you are able to experience overnight sea kayak touring and camping, enjoying two complete days spent relaxing, touring and exploring Moreton Bay and the North Stradbroke Island coastline.

The Nth Stradbroke Island Adventure features fully catered sumptuous meals all associated camping and kayaking equipment. This remarkable journey allows you the chance to visit secluded locations and beaches by kayak and truly experience the natural beauty and wildlife in a relaxed quiet setting.

You will receive full tuition before we embark covering paddling techniques, a thorough safety briefing and an introduction to the finer points of Sea Kayaking, allowing you to relax and enjoy the natural surrounds with the knowledge that your guides have got it all under control.

We camp over on North Stradbroke at Blakesleys Beach, also known as Blakesleys anchorage, which is a superb white sandy beach and the ideal spot for camping. During the tour as we make our passage to and from North Stradbroke we will paddle around some of the superb island's and through the channels that make Moreton & Redland Bays so unique.

We paddle a section of the North Stradbroke shoreline which has distinct sea grass beds which is food for the dugong and turtles that frequent the isolated waters. We have been fortunate enough to sight the elusive dugong on many occasions. Other sightings of bottle nosed dolphins, many green turtles feeding and abundant bird life fill our days on the water and in camp. The fishing is excellent and we encourage group members to participate in the bait collection and subsequent fishing adventures.

We meet at 8.30am on day 1 and proceed to pack our kayaks with gear, followed by a comprehensive equipment and trip orientation, which should then have us on the water at about 9.30am. We will return to Victoria Pt at approximately 3.00pm on the following afternoon. We have never had any problems with vehicles being left overnight at Victoria Pt, in case you were wondering.

The meeting and launch site for the North Stradbroke Island tour is Victoria Point. Located south of Cleveland Pt and found at the end of Colburn Ave.

Join us for a relaxing paddle in Moreton Bay and explore North Straddie from a different perspective!
